Que Sera, Sera

As a baby boomer, I have absolutely no experience with a deep, pervasive, hope-sucking economic downturn, and I hope that continues to be true...but I have this sense of having crossed over into uncharted territory with the current economic picture. Rather than planning an open house, I think maybe we should be having a seance to query the spirit world about the future behavior of the real estate market. Does anybody know a good psychic? How about an astrologer? I am ready to channel some optimism here...it's after the Super Bowl, classic home buying season (read: we can get our men out of the house on Sunday afternoon to look at some real action) and I'm standing on the brink of it with bated breath. What's going on here?
